IMPACT
Most construction companies are not known for being "chic", but why settle for boring visuals when you can make something great? Working at Curran Young has been a treat because it's a company that recognizes the value of good design, no matter the industry.
Laying a solid brand foundation meant locking in the visuals. Being less than a decade old, we're the new guys in town- meaning step one was getting noticed. A fresh, modern look that harmonizes with good ol' construction site grit resulted in a memorable, unapologetically in-your-face visual style, ensuring that SWFL could not help but look our way.

While I inherited a beautiful company website, we all know a good website goes far beyond the aesthetics. Through strategic form restructuring and site-wide design enhancements, I was able to double our website traffic and trade partner form submissions, and even helped earn us two Best Building Industry Website awards in Collier and Lee county.

Original Design
The original form was cluttered, unclear, and difficult to navigate, resulting in a high rate of user abandonment. Step one was separating the "how to" slider section from the fillable form and giving each instruction step the space and clarity it deserved. Step two was utilizing progressive disclosure for the Interest Form, preventing users from getting overwhelmed and confused by condensed and unclear input fields.
Project photos are proof the project actually happened. Instead of forcing users to click on individual project case studies in order to see the full build, they can instead quickly peruse the portfolio page and click through individual project highlights.

The social side of things
Before starting at Curran Young, the company's social media presence was barely utilized. Sure, posting took place, but with no strategy. Zero consistency, over-milked content, and recycled ideas limited Curran Young's outreach and media presence. Through detailed monthly social media calendars, content variation, and visually consistent graphics, LinkedIn following and engagement tripled within the year- resulting in greater company recognition in the local market and more effective recruiting.
